Three Little Pigs Bedtime Story
Once upon a time in a lush green forest, there were three little pigs named Pip, Pop, and Pup. They were siblings and had recently grown up enough to leave their mother’s cozy home. Each pig wanted to build a house of their own, but they had very different ideas about what kind of house they should build.Pip was the most carefree of the three. He loved to play and didn’t like to work too hard. He decided to build his house out of straw. “It’s so easy and quick!” he thought. He gathered some straw from the fields and quickly piled it up. In no time, he had a house that looked quite nice. Pip was very proud of his work and spent the rest of the day playing and having fun.
Pop was a bit more careful than Pip. He didn’t want to work too hard either, but he thought straw was too flimsy. He decided to build his house out of sticks. “Sticks are stronger than straw,” he said to himself. He collected sticks from the forest and stacked them together. It took a bit longer than Pip’s house, but Pop was happy with his work. He thought his house was much better than Pip’s straw house.
Pup was the youngest, but he was also the wisest of the three pigs. He watched Pip and Pop build their houses and thought, “I want to build a house that will last.” Pup decided to build his house out of bricks. Bricks were heavy and hard to work with, but Pup knew they were the strongest. He spent many days collecting bricks and carefully building his house. It was a lot of hard work, but Pup was determined to have a strong and safe home.
One day, a big bad wolf came to the forest. He was very hungry and saw the three little pigs’ houses. He decided to try and blow them down so he could eat the pigs. He went to Pip’s straw house first. “Little pig, little pig, let me in!” he growled.
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!” Pip replied bravely.
“Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in!” the wolf threatened.
The wolf took a deep breath and blew as hard as he could. The straw house was so light that it easily fell down. Pip ran as fast as he could to Pop’s stick house.
The wolf followed him and knocked on Pop’s door. “Little pig, little pig, let me in!”
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!” Pop shouted.
“Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in!” the wolf said again.
The wolf took another deep breath and blew. The stick house was stronger than the straw house, but it still couldn’t stand up to the wolf’s strong breath. The house fell down, and Pip and Pop ran to Pup’s brick house.
The wolf saw them run and followed. He knocked on Pup’s door. “Little pig, little pig, let me in!”
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!” Pup said firmly.
“Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in!” the wolf threatened once more.
The wolf took a huge breath and blew as hard as he could. But the brick house didn’t budge. He tried again and again, but the strong bricks held firm. The wolf was so frustrated that he gave up and went away, hungry and defeated.
Pip, Pop, and Pup were safe inside Pup’s brick house. They realized that hard work and smart choices paid off. They were grateful for Pup’s wisdom and decided to rebuild their houses with bricks too.
And so, the three little pigs lived happily ever after in their strong and cozy brick houses. They learned that sometimes, a little extra effort can make a big difference.
