Bedtime Story: The Tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Once upon a time in a beautiful forest, there lived three bears: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. They had a cozy little house made of wood, with a warm fireplace and three chairs in the living room. Papa Bear had a big, sturdy chair, Mama Bear had a medium-sized chair, and Baby Bear had a small, delicate chair. The bears loved their home and enjoyed spending time together, especially having their favorite porridge for breakfast every morning.
One sunny day, while the bears were out for a walk in the forest, a little girl named Goldilocks wandered into the woods. She was curious and adventurous, but she had lost her way. After walking for a long time, she saw the bears’ house and decided to take a peek inside. The door was slightly ajar, so she pushed it open and stepped in.
Goldilocks saw the three chairs in the living room and thought, “I’m so tired from walking. Maybe I can rest for a bit.” She tried Papa Bear’s chair first, but it was too hard. Then she tried Mama Bear’s chair, but it was too soft. Finally, she tried Baby Bear’s chair, and it was just right. She sat down and felt so comfortable that she accidentally broke the chair a little. Goldilocks didn’t notice and continued to explore the house.
Next, she saw three bowls of porridge on the table. She was very hungry, so she decided to taste them. The first bowl was Papa Bear’s, and it was too hot. The second bowl was Mama Bear’s, and it was too cold. The third bowl was Baby Bear’s, and it was just right. Goldilocks ate it all up, feeling satisfied.
After eating, Goldilocks felt sleepy. She went upstairs and found three beds in the bedroom. She tried Papa Bear’s bed, but it was too hard. She tried Mama Bear’s bed, but it was too soft. Finally, she tried Baby Bear’s bed, and it was just right. Goldilocks curled up in the bed and fell fast asleep.
Meanwhile, the three bears returned home from their walk. Papa Bear noticed that his porridge was untouched, but Mama Bear’s and Baby Bear’s bowls were empty. They were puzzled and worried. When they went upstairs, they saw that their beds were all messed up. Baby Bear cried out, “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed, and they’re still here!”
Goldilocks woke up with a start and saw the three bears standing at the foot of the bed. She was scared and realized that she had made a big mistake. She quickly got out of the bed and ran out of the house as fast as she could. The bears were relieved that she was gone, but they were also sad about the broken chair and the eaten porridge.
Goldilocks ran through the forest, finally finding her way back home. She promised herself that she would never wander into someone else’s house again without permission. She learned a valuable lesson about respecting others’ property and being careful about where she went.
And so, the bears fixed their house and continued to live happily in the forest. Goldilocks stayed safe at home, and from that day on, she always listened to her parents and stayed on the right path.
The end.
